Hi all, I went ahead and changed my oil and filter last weekend for the first time. A couple days later, I checked under my bike for leaks and saw it was pooling a little bit. Did a finger test and I'm fairly sure it's the oil drain screw. The screw was incredibly hard to get off from the last service (previous owner/shop) - to the point where I had to use a bar extension for my ratchet. I only screwed it in hand-tight as I've heard horror stories about stripping/damaging from over... Bike dripping after oil change ..read more

Hello, recently was in an accident and got a few slices through my wiring harness. I’m currently trying to replace it and I’m taking the old one out, do I need to remove the tank for the removal/install of the harness or am I okay leaving it on? Also wondering if there is a guide / tutorial to this because there’s a lot of connections and I’m trying my best winging it here. Thank you in advance ..read more

I came across a 2019 Ninja 400 for sale for a pretty low penny, but the owner says it ran low on oil, lost power, and now it makes "a noise at higher RPM" (waiting on clarification for that). He says that he changed the oil and now it starts and runs, but still makes "a noise at higher RPM". He did a compression test and got 130/132 cold. I'm waiting on some more information from him, but considering the cost of the bike and, worst case scenario, the cost of a newly used engine, is it... 2019 Ninja 400 Ran Low on Oil, Lost Power ..read more
