Hi I had a check engine light. I looked on youtube for a method to reset. Put my bike on 5th gear, held the throttle for 5 sec, turned the ignition on, tried to start. 2009 Concours 14. Took it camping way back in 2021 and the engine died on a long downhill. After an hour of sitting everything cooled and it restarted. Made it halfway back to the campsite and it died again. Pushed it 2.5 miles entirely uphill. Got my trailer the next day and it sat in the garage. Alright so far the sensor underneath the sear I believe is where it started so the connector on it broke and cause the blue and brown wire on it short out so the blue one is getting ground so I'm thinking the ecu at this point but if yall have anything else I should try before hand lmk plz I have to get this bike running ..read more

This is a bit of a sad story but my dad has owned this 1990 ZX11 since 2005, and it was in near mint original running condition until it was totaled by a mechanic trying to fix an intermittent front brake locking issue in the last month. The damage broke the right side fairing and turn signal, scratched the frame, exhaust, mirror, bar end, and lever.
