I might be losing it, but I feel like after every like 50-100 kms, I need to retighten my free play. Usually when I tighten the free play I do it at the grip end, not then throttle body end. Is this a legit thing? I have never seen it in any of my other bikes. How can I make it so that the free play doesn't loosen ..read more

Hi hope somebody can solve my query, I stripped my carbs after bad running cleaned and refitted jets, on inspecting the emulsion tube there are a series of small holes up the tube as should be, my question is should there be a hole through the tube inside,as I look through my tube I can't see any hole? I have a 2004 R6, when I purchased the bike, the previous owner had the chain locked in at 24-25mm. I have no idea if this is some sort of race spec? or if this is the legitimate tension for the bike. There's no longer the sticker or anything on the bike indicating what it should be locked in at either. should I keep running the same tension? it looks fine to me personally but I've got no clue if that's a dangerous number or not. Sorry if there is already a thread on this but i have a 07 r6s and out of nowhere my fans stopped working…i put power to the fan and the fan came on checked continuity from the fan relay to the battery and that looked good with 0 ohms of resistance and it also gets 13v so power isnt an issue i ordered a new fan relay just to check and it still didnt work.. i tried doing diag mode 51 and the fuel pump primes but i dont hear nor feel clicking in the fan relay so i ended up breaking open the... 07 r6s radiator fans don't come on ..read more

While changing the plugs I noticed this hole in one of the spark plug tubes. Does anyone know why this is here? I’m hoping it just drains water out and wasn’t caused by the coil heating up too much. thanks ..read more

Hi all, after laying my r6 5eb up over winter it would not fire up,I noticed that the fuel pump was not pumping so replaced with good used pump, but this is not the main problem, when I started her up the revs hung up at 2k-3k then slowly came down and stopped, I obviously thought carburetor need cleaning after laying over winter so I stripped carbs and left all jets to soke overnight on checking jet sizes I found they weren't as standard sizes, here's what is fitted Main jets all 136, Pilot...
