I am sure this has been discussed before but most of what I am finding is just noise. Can't get any concrete information. I bought the H-4 & H-7 bulbs thinking that is what I needed. Hi all, I hope this isn't a redundant thread, but I could use some help. I have a FZ6 with 67k miles on it. It had been running great and the fuel pump just died. No operation at all. I replaced it with an Ebay pump. Bad idea. Initially it ran again, but it seemed to be running lean. It smelled funny when it was running, and would bog off idle. NOT running rich. Hallo I had a crash at 40 km/h. I broke my collar bone, handlebar was a little bit bent (5mm) and right crash pad destroyed. I changed both crash pads and handlebar with new one but after 6000 rpm i have a strange vibration in foot pags and handlebar, looks like a resonance. Anyone have any ideas ? Thank you ..read more

EDIT (4/20): Updated reference retail cost for US distributor. Price is OBO. I have a Wilbers 640 shock that I purchased from eBay a couple of years ago intending to install it on my bike. I took a gamble on the set up as the seller didn't have any info. Turns out it's sprung/valved inappropriately for my weight. Very good condition. I know the FZ uses the R6 motor. Are the R6 gauges plug and play on the FZ6? I acquired a wrecked FZ6 without the front fairing or gauges. I figured used r6 gauges can be had cheap. I know I can build a mount for it, just concerned about the plugs/wiring. (I've used magnetic bicycle speedos on streetfighters before but I'd prefer real gauges if it doesn't require much tweaking ..read more

what’s up everyone, I am new to the Yamaha space and acquired an 08 FZ-6 from my step brother because it would die on first gear apparently.
