I just ordered the Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 on Cyber Monday. I think that about completes my A7 Classic kit, which also includes the 28-70mm zoom, the 24-240mm superzoom, and three Sony primes: the 28mm f/2.0, the 35mm f/2.8 and the 50mm f/1.8. I'd been looking at the 85mm for a while. whether or not you folks here think I could make good use of a Sony FE 85 1.8 lens. I know it duplicates/is close to, my FE90 but not really. Am I wrong in thinking it might make a good birthday present to myself? The local camera shop has one in the case that looks pretty nice, not having handled it, just looking thru the case at it.
