I am curious if anyone has actually used one of the Sig Echo 3 Thermal Scopes? In general I like Sig Sauer products, but this seems to be a unique product. Hello all, I'm currently building an external battery pack for my armasight zeus. I have located some pinouts for the female/male end of the 8-pin connector. 7 to vdd +, 2 to -gnd. Running 6.1v from power supply. External power source is not working, and this is based off of what I have found here on lone star. I have a thermal target that retains the heat from a bullet long enough to sight in the next few shots. On a hot or sunny it’s useless because it heats up or the sun provides too much background noise to see the penetration. So, I can only use it later at night to sight in my guns after it’s cooled off. About a week ago I decided to just set it up near one of our feeders. Was sad to learn FLIR discontinued all consumer weapons products in 2020. I have a PTS233 and have learned I have a older firmware version. FLIR will no longer send out the firmware updates even when asked for them via email. Does anyone have the file to update the unit to the latest firmware version? I’ve run my Apollo 640 with the extended battery pack for 3-4hrs before with the battery indicator showing a hair below full charge on several occasions over the past year or two. This past weekend I went out on Sunday and as the temps dropped my battery indicator started tanking. At the 2-2.5hr mark, it started flashing.
