I hope I’m not boring people with my helmet painting posts! I am really enjoy learning how to do this stuff whether it be trial and error or from info from TJ. This will not ever be something I do as a paying job just enjoyment and satisfaction (plenty of frustration too). I’ve been to the track with him many times, and I noticed that my dad (his mechanic) liked to keep track of data (lap times, jet size, EGTs, tire pressures, weather, kart setup) for each session in a binder with many sheets of paper. Hey, got a race on sunday, a 3h rental kart race with Sodi SR4 karts (9hp, gx270) Basically, its a endurance with 3 drivers, and we will have to do a driver swap. Anyone know how that happens? Like does one driver just hop out and the other hops in as fast as they can or is there some type of specific rule or something? What are the current opinions, options and prices for race fuel? Specifically for KA on the east coast, but this can include other classes and locations too. My track sells Sunoco Standard 110 and Optima 95.
