Hi, I’ve just bought a 2001 750ie and as you can see from the photos the seat doesn’t fit to he recess in the tank as it should. Now I’m not sure if it has even modified in the past or if it is a lower seat. I have shown the part number for help. Rear bearing collapsed on my 3 month old 937 Monster SP after 4500 KMs. I was a few hundred kilometres from home and had it towed to the nearest dealer. They removed the wheel but won't remove the bearing until they have the new parts so have no idea what caused it yet. Really didn't expect to be left stranded on a brand new bike. Monsters, I have just two days ago fired up and road-tested a 2001 S4. My first Ducati, given to me two years ago, from a front-end wreck. Bent steering stem, forks, handlebars, destroyed gages, electrical cut up, reservoirs and master cylinders cut up. All replaced. Wonder of wonders, a frame was located in Alabama that was straight. But the last year has been the real puzzle. No spark, no fuel delivery. All resolved, - of course it was my own electrical errors and fuel line hookup errors... Turn key on- hit the starter - fires and straight to Redline RPM! First time I've ever experienced something like this. Throttle cable is fine in normal working condition. Hey everyone, just picked up a 2013 monster 796 about a month ago. Been riding it quite a bit since and I’m just wondering what people are seeing for their top speed in 2nd gear. Mine will red line at around 80-85mph. Only reason why I’m asking because lately the bike hasn’t felt as quick as I first got it. Hi guys, Im new to Ducati and Just bought my 821 stealth couple weeks ago and I notice couple times when I Quick shift from 3 to 4, i got into a state that the screen is showing 4th gear engaged but when I twist the throttle, only the rpm spikes up hardly and the bike not accelerate at all (i assume it calls false neutral am I right?). It sometimes happens when I ride over a big bump unexpectedly. When it happens, I have to down shift back to 3 and upshift to 4th again to make it work. is...
