Good afternoon, I have a customer that has a 2016 KQ 500AXI that originally was brought to me for the infamous broken ISC valve wire (Code C40). Long story short, fixed the wire, got everything up and going and was good to go for a few weeks. (Also for some reason someone told him to replace the speed sensor, so he did (before bringing it to me to diagnose it as ISC fault) A few weeks later he tells me after a good hour or two of ridding it will start falling on its face, backfiring, and... Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and in desperate need of some help. I have a 2005 LTZ 250 that my son rides. The other day my son tipped it on its side due to a collision with a tractor tire. Even though he was going relatively slow, it caused it to tip it on its side. Prior to this happening the quad was running fine. Now the quad is blowing blueish white smoke out the pipe, and it will not go more that 5 mph in first gear (full throttle). It has also developed a ticking sound. Its like... 2005 LTZ 250 Smoking and Loss of Power after tip over ..read more

I’m having some trouble with my 89 quadrunner 250, when I bought it (last week) the guy said it had the wrong carburetor in it which it did so I bought the correct one and I think I have the lines mixed up on it along with the fuel pump, does anyone know which ones go to where? Anything helps! Pics of the kind of carb I bought ..read more

1987 Quadrunner front outer cv

Hi all, I just recently picked up the above machine and am in the process of bringing it up to scratch. On this model the outer cv is not repairable from what I‘ve read. I don’t mind servicing it myself but not sure if I can just hammer the cage off the shaft or not, as replacements aren’t readily available for this year I was hoping someone had some experience with this specific year, I couldn’t find a lot in browser searches. Appreciate any input in advance ..read more

Suzuki Quadrunner 250 No compression

Hi. I recently received a late model Suzuki Quadrunner 250 4wd from my father in-law. It sat in a shed for years without being ran. It died on him when plowing snow and never took the time to get it running again. I took it to a local mechanic and they were able to get it running again. I'm not sure what they did to get it going. I barely used the machine, maybe about 6 miles worth of work moving mulch around with a small pull behind wagon. (lots of starts and stops over that 6 miles.) When... Runs perfect and is... 1989 Suzuki Quadrunner LT4WD ..read more

New from Montreal - LT-F250

Hi there. I purchased a 1988 Suzuki LT-F250 quad during the pandemic when the border was closed. My hunting quad was landlocked in the US at my cabin, and I could not cross to pick it up for the hunt. I was desperate so I dropped a whopping $1500 on this old girl. She's pretty gnarly but got me through my hunt and was actually very capable considering this is only the 2-wheel drive version. I went places most people wouldn't, and she did not let me down. That said, once the border... New from Montreal - LT-F250 ..read more

Master brake cylinder cover

I have a Quadrunner LT-250F K1, from 2000, I think, and I cannot get the screws out of the master brake cylinder cover, to change the brake fluid. Well, more specifically, I can't get one of them out. Both were awful, with the heads seemingly very soft, so despite having a very well fitting screwdriver, both rounded out a little, before I managed to get one free, but even that one was a real pig, and touch and go. The other one just wouldn't budge, and now it's too late for my screw, it's... Master brake cylinder cover ..read more
