Hello, I have a 1987 Suzuki GS450L that I can not get started. I have searched online quite a bit looking for answers but haven't found anything that helped yet. It seems to me the issue is that there is not enough suction in the carburetor to pull the fuel through. But first, let me give you a little background information so you know what I have already done.

I am having trouble removing the speedo odometer cable in the front hub. I removed everything except the parts for the cable. I can only remove one small screw in the assembly and I can not get the cable to come out of the hub and I can't see what the problem is. There are two other small holes in the gear and at the cable end inside the hub. I have small screwdrivers and allen heads and nothing works. The cable comes out of the hub about 1/4 inch but stops.
