Has anyone successfully repaired the solid state (pulse width modulator) dimmer 'box'? Maybe replaced the 200K stat/pot on the board? I'm looking for a known good replacement for that piece. If anyone has found a part that works, a PN and source would be much appreciated. My dash lights quit. Wiggling/fussing with the knob sometimes gets them back. 1987 samurai has a 1.6L swap, starter motor began engaging intermittently (turn-key, click, turn-key, click, turn-key, click, turn-key, engage). The radio disply does not show all of the parts of letters or numbers. For instance, FM appears like a side ways U for the F and the inner v shows for the letter M. Is this a fuse problem? Any suggestions other than complete replacement? The radio plays fine. Thanks ..read more

Hi guys. I own a 06 Sx4 with m16a engine. For a while I have been noticing an engine leak on the driver side (right) where the coolant pipe joins the engine. Is it a valve cover gasket leak? The interesting thing is that the leak does not seem to be expanding. I also suspect that it may be a coolant leak. Unfortunately they overfilled the coolant reservoir during the last maintenance and I had to remove nearly 500 ml excess coolant. I am attaching some photos regarding the problem. I feel really dumb and searched youtube and web for image/video of OBD location. It's not I usual spot under steering wheel. not above the pedals.. No access door on the left where fuse box is . Iooked under car 3x with flashlight, I feel really dumb. it HAS to be easy to access. I do know the computer control box is located under the glove box.
