I did this today using the Cleveley video for guidance. Only difficulty was working out what I was meant to be slotting the piece of ducting into when putting it all back together. Anyway, the rope filter protruded out of the opening by about half an inch. I couldn't get it in any further, and just bolted the door up on it. Now I'm wondering if somehow it's not right and I've left a bloody big gap on the far side. Anyone else done this job and able to confirm if the top filter should go all... i'm currently running a Vauxhall Ampera and charging it from a wall charger wired directly to the supply. The site I'm on has a 30amp supply, and the charger is running at a constant 16amps with no problems. I want to upgrade to an EV but i'm guessing I wont be able to run the usual 32amp 7.4Kw charging as it will trip the electrics. I accept that running a charger with less ampage rating will increase the charging time. What's the best I can do in my situation? I see that there are 16amp... We have a problem. There are two boxes in the boot. One is a first aid kit, but the other is some form of charger that does not fit my standard SyncEV output!
