We travel to Crewe with a confidence,  desire and belief that we have not seen since the first part of the Jack Ross era. From a team struggling to score we now see goals coming from every part of the team and that is now being backed up with clean sheets.  2-0 to Crewe it is then ..read more

Shock news. Sunderland have been quoted as favourites to win a game at Wembley!!! I also saw that the Echo is saying that Tranmere have requested the game is out back until May. Because from May 17 fans will be allowed into the stadium even if it is only 10000 maximum. Although I think that may cause a problem for Suynderland to decide how they would allocate their share of the tickets ..read more

Fans around at the time would give a combined moan when Elmo was announced, shite they would say. He starts today for Villa, that's in the premiership you know. Wyke, shite, carthorse, get him out of our club. He scored again yesterday. A Rodwell  for me should be condemned but any player, good or bad, who gives their all should be supported when they are wearing the shirt for us ..read more

I'm watching WHU v Spurs, the much maligned Moyes  v the special one Jose. Moyes heading for a top 6 finish and loved by the Hammers fans. The special one not been special for some time.  But I was reading that it would cost Spurs 40 million euros to sack him. At the other end of the table the miracle worker Big Sam seems to have run out of spells. Of course here at Sunderland we know all about reputations, probably our biggest managerial appointments of late in reputation stakes  ..read more
