Hi all, when moving off from anywhere from 1st gear, the rpm will slightly pull up a little over 500-800 rpm before it shifts to 2nd, creating a jerky feeling.
Car has abit of pop and bang and highly believed previous owner has uptune it.
it happens even after driving for a period of time.
GB is ZF.
No fault code or any issue, will changing trans oil helps with this ..read more

Hi, all, got a Spyder about a month ago, when came home noticed pronounced tick from the right bank. Previous owner had liqui moly 10w60 in it. Changed oil to Mobil 5w40 and added Liqui Moly hydraulic lifter noise additive. Oil level is correct. Now car starts up fine and quite, but after driving around the block the tick comes back, can hear it with windows down. pressure Gauge is at 70 on startup and while driving, drops and fluctuates at traffic light. Couple times in a month momentarily...

I have read a lot, a lot, a lot!!!! And except for a couple of cases, everything I see is related to wet sump engines and as you know, both the variators and adding a non-return valve have nothing to do with the solution for dry sump engines like mine.

My car isn’t too bad for sticky buttons - but it is still annoying. The worst part was the headlamp switch panel, which was broken anyway, so that was replaced with new, so now I have fog lights and no sticky buttons but I am £325 worse off. Next, the centre console trim plate and these are not available to purchase; even if they were, they are way too expensive. Because this is a horizontal piece, the dust lands….and stays…stuck.
