I have a 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, 2004 Bentley GT, 2015 F-type R, 2013 Jeep Rubicon, 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 diesel, 1975 International Scout II and 2006 Honda Goldwing. One issue that is driving me nuts!!! TPMS fault, flashing light that goes solid. Sensors all live and broadcasting, no reading on any wheel. Fault point to tpms module. ordered module can not figure out location of part? Some say behind drivers seat? Pulled all trim from behind both driver and passenger seats and don't... Battery not charging fault

Hey everyone! So I've had my 2015 XFS for a year now and all has gone well until today. Half way through my 54 mile commute a 'Battery Not Charging' warning flashed up. Immediately panicking I turned off any auxiliary and made it home without issue. I looked to see if anything in the battery area was loose and couldn't feel anything out of place. I did a visual (just) check of the alternator and belt it's still there and spinning as I believe it should be. I checked the battery's voltage... Battery not charging fault ..read more

Dear friends, my XF is on 75k miles after 8 years owning, I’ve decided it’s still a keeper so gave it some love with a gearbox oil service/mild flush at an independent Jaguar specialist. Cost was £499. The drive home was splendid but the main point of this post is to show you the sump pan and how much metallic swarf the magnets had collected…more than I was expecting! Running a (gloved!) finger along the oil revealed a nice silver sheen also. To my mind, this puts the ‘sealed for life’... XF 3.0d 8 speed ZF gearbox service. Sump pan photos ..read more

I keep getting the above code come up every few hundred miles or so, I can clear it with my Autel Maxi AP200 and there doesn't appear to be any affect on the running of the car (it's a MY2019 2.0l diesel 180bhp). The description reads NOx sensor heater control circuit/open bank 1 sensor 2. $7E8 Current The only thing I've noticed is that it seems to be triggered after a run (20+miles so well up to temp) and then setting off again after around an hour or so. Short runs etc. don't seem... DTC P22A3 ..read more

Fitting Vent Pipe to Yuasa YBX5019 Battery (2003 XK8 4.2)

I'm just about to fit a Yuasa YBX5019 to my late 2003 XK8 4.2. The old battery currently fitted doesn't have a vent pipe - do I need to fit a vent pipe near the positive terminal to the Yuasa YBX5019? If so, where is the best place to buy one? As far as I can tell from their website, Halfords don't sell vent pipes. Also, am I right in thinking that the red plastic plug fitted near the negative terminal should be left in place and not removed? I've just read that Yuasa batteries don't need a... I wound the piston all the way back... but once the pads were in situe ... it was like they were a few mm to big either side and the caliper wouldn't go over the top ? Old ones back in for now ...but any ideas? Many thanks ..read more
