Sorry for the duplicate thread...I posted it in the wrong sub- forum the first time.
I'd appreciate it if any of the wrenchers could give me some input here. I just noticed that the washer around the fork stem screw on my 2024 Breakout was spinning freely, and the screw itself was quite loose.... not finger loose, but definitely not where it's supposed to be. I torqued it to spec. The pinch bolt just below that washer was torqued properly, but there's a pretty big gap there. Is that normal? Bike is new, ~850 miles on her. No noticeable handling issues. Was planning on taking it in for the 1 ..read more

Yesterday ended poorly purchased a 2018 road king with a freshly installed fuel moto 124 kit and woods 22xe cam.
After coming to an off-ramp for fuel the bike started knocking or ticking loudly. I shut it off as soon as I was able and had it towed
i broke down the bike today looking for possibly a bad lifter which I found some wear marking on the rollers but not sure how else to test if they are bad. Upon removal of the the cam cover and cam plate I noticed minor metal shaving and gold tinged oil. I need advice should I put in new lifters change the oil and see what happens or dive further i ..read more

Greetings everyone. In my mid 60's, been riding since I was a kid, and finally got a softail WOOHOO! I've currently got two Dynas, I'll be selling one and keeping the other. I found a 2022 Heritage with only 277 miles! I found it in Oklahoma with a way better price than anything I could find here in Albuquerque. The original owner was someone who "wanted a bike his whole life" and then bought this as his first bike and was intimidated by it. I've purchased all my bikes as low mileage garage queens. I have a good friend who lives in OK who picked it up for me. I'll be going out there this weeke ..read more

You must have Harley Davidson currently with factory Apple CarPlay
Hello, we manufacture wireless CarPlay units in the USA. Our products also add Android Auto for motorcycles that are not equipped with it. While our products work on all cars with factory CarPlay to make them wireless, we have never tested them on Harley Davidson motorcycles. We would like to meet you and offer a free unit for testing ..read more

While I was installing the Kodlin lowering kit, I placed the spring and ball from the preload adjuster in a bowl so I didn't lose them. I then proceeded to knock the bowl off the table a few minutes later, and goodbye spring and ball. I went to the dealership today who informed me that I would need to buy an entire shock assembly for $500 because they don't sell the spring and ball separately. Does anyone know where I can source these parts? I think the only purpose is tactile and audible feedback when adjusting the preload, so it isn't the end of the world, but if it's something I can replace ..read more

Hey guys. I've searched multiple forums and haven't quite found the answers I'm after, sorry if this has been talked about before.
Planning on doing a bar swap in the next 2 weeks on my '18 FLHR with ABS to 1.25" LA Chopper 14" bars. Going to get their extension kit to go along with it (wires, clutch line, brake lines). I have 2 questions--
Am I going to be alright doing the brake line swap without having to mess with ABS module? Or do i need to take this to the dealer to have them "cycle" ABS for install?
Also, which brake lines do I need to replace exactly? I guess in my head it should on ..read more
