Hi All, Newbie here! I've just purchased an ex display Bird A frame and I love it. It has one annoying issues however, it is missing the lug at the bottom of the saddle stem where it joins the frame, pictures attached. Anyone know where I might get one as I don't want water getting into the opening. TIA guys ..read more

I would dearly like to upgrade my front brake to hydraulic disk. but my forks do not have the suitable mount, and are swept to position the front wheel away from the obstruction of the main frame. Google has presented me with a cheap fork replacement, but the sweep looks less pronounced than on my current forks. and the angle or degree of the sweep is not a metric... I'm completely lost. Forks I know, but usually the high end, and I've a number of those - RS lyrik, pike, fox factory, and i can even strip and service those. But when it comes to the cheaper stuff im a complete novice. This lack has left me having problems as to what to get as a replacement for the buzzbike with the dodgy fork. Im sticking with a sus fork, because its an 1 1/4" race, and sus fork crowns are usually big enough, wide enough to support the wider crown race. For once im not... Fork Choice(Cheap ..read more

Those who have read some of my other posts over the last few years will know that I am somewhat paranoid about the additional weight of most ebikes compared with the lightweight unpowered touring bikes of my youth. Although I readily acknowledge the benefits of my modest ebikes (a Decathlon 500E and the modded old touring bike with powered front wheel) in keeping me cycling into my late seventies, it doesn't match the feeling of freedom for me given by a lightweight responsive bike on the... Hi, Whilst I am an eBike noob I am reasonably competent at electronics but could do with some help with this. I just bought this bike 2nd hand, advertised for spares or repair as the battery wasn't charging, the seller stated the charger flashes red momentarily and then nothing. However upon getting it home the battery (26cv9ah) was reading 28v and when I connected the charger the red light came on as expected. (It just occurred to me that it might behave differently if charged on the... Giant Twist Express RS2 - No Power ..read more

"Electrical Safety First has drafted a Ten Minute Rule Bill, to be tabled by Yvonne Fovargue MP. The Bill will seek to introduce third party certification for eBikes, eScooters and their batteries to reduce the risk of dangerous batteries entering the market and, subsequently, people’s homes. If introduced, the regulation would see e-bikes, e-scooter and their batteries added to an existing list of products which are already subject to third party certification, including fireworks and...
