Got the full build kit. Troydon was super patient and helpful. One really nice surprise was that it came with the new 2025 Grip X2 fork and Float X2 shock. I just finished the ridewrap and build yesterday. And this morning set up the suspension. Hoping to get our for a ride today or tomorrow. Finally, the last piece of my Crestline RS180 build has arrived. Cannot wait to get some tires on these bad boys…the pattern I built into the lacing while drinking actually turned out pretty cool as one side of the wheel is fully black spokes and the other is interlaced gold and silver. Hi all, Am reassembling the drive chain after swapping out chainring and cassette but am a little stumped as the correct placement for the o-ring (marked G) as it is just sitting loose and doesn't seem to be sealing anything. I thought I'd check first before reattaching the crank fully and torquing everything up to the correct spec. Does anyone have a photo or can describe the correct placement for it I'd be grateful. My daughter is growing fast, and has now moved up from her 20” wheeled Specialized RipRock, to a 27.5” Rockhopper. She looks ridiculous on it, but I’m sure she’ll grow into it soon. Her immaculate pink Riprock is now going through ‘gender reassignment’ treatment (hope this doesn’t offend anyone ) and is going to turn blue so my boy can get the use of it. I was riding my 2022 Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro today and my chain snapped. On inspection my chainring was bent too and moves a lot from side to side. Just recovering from knee surgery so I can finally justify getting an emtb (finally come to terms with the cost lol). Been to a local shop etc then remembered my work does the cycle to work thing.
