The Statement of Inquiry is a critical piece of unit planning in the MYP. This is where we tie our Key Concept, Related Concepts, and Global Context together to create our statement of what we are actually going to teach throughout the unit. We need to remember that Statements should be universal and in language our students understand. Writing them is difficult, but with practice, it gets easier.

The differences between Key Concepts and other models of concept driven instruction in the PHE program, such as Teaching Games for Understanding, are addressed.
