Bosch Powertube 750 Battery not turning on correctly

I own a Focus Jarifa2 6.9 which has a Bosch Powertube 750 battery. The other day tried to update the bike software using the Bosch Flow app, and now the bike does not turn on. The LED remote on the handlebar shows some blue lights and then turns off after about 5 seconds. It has the same response as when the battery is missing from the bike. There's no error code or orange/red lights showing. Unplugging and reinserting all the cables doesn't seem to have changed anything. Removing the... Read more ..read more

Hi there, my name is Dom. I live in New Zealand and a few years ago bought an ebike to commute to work. The commute is about 30km and on the ebike it takes about 50 minutes using full power. The bike is a Magnum Metro. Recently I've noticed the power faltering at times. Now it's getting more frequent. I took it to my local bike shop and they just said "oh you need a battery specialist up in Auckland to look at it. Might need a new battery or even a new battery management system". I... Bipartisan bill addressing lithium-ion battery fires awaits congressional action As electric bikes have grown in popularity, poorly manufactured lithium-ion batteries and electronics have led to a spate of fires. New legislation congressional legislation aims to fix the problem. www.upi.com This issue weighed heavily in my decision to select Zen over Evelo. Ravi has stated here, on the website and in a personal conversation that the battery and charger would pass these standards. Evelo flat out stated they have no intention of gaining UL certification. Seems to me this type of legisla ..read more

Hello everyone. I have been browsing through this community for a good bit and wanted to see if some of the members could help me with some questions. I am looking at purchasing a full suspension class3+ mid drive torque sensing MTB to commute to work (roughly 35 miles round trip) during the week and hit some trails on the weekend. I'm currently looking at the Luna Z1 but have some questions about my approach and bike selection. 1. Does anyone else commute on a full suspension emtb... Read more ..read more

Hello, I've run into an issue after installing my new display, specifically KT-LCD8HU. While my bike is trying to maintain / not go over the top speed, the motor will consistently cut in and out every other second or so, which I think is pretty normal except you can physically feel it to the point where it makes the riding experience incredibly unpleasent, this wasn't an issue with my old KT-LCD8S display, unfortunately I am unable to see which settings my old display has so I can't... Creo assist drops spontaneously

I bought a new Turbo Creo SL late last June. After only a few rides, I got a message that there was a battery error. LBS replaced the battery and I kept riding. I was using Smart Control in HR mode a lot at the time and got very inconsistent assist but chalked it up to either my lack of understanding of how it was supposed to work or that mode not being ready for prime time. I took the bike on a trip in early July and had an unfortunate accident with it on a roof top rack. The result was... Read more ..read more

What causes excessive voltage sag?

Both of my Lectric ebikes get the worst voltage sag. I'll have a full charge, pop it in max PAS to cross a street and next thing I know I'm down to 4 bars remaining! Then when I stop at my destination I come back out and I'll be back to full charge. I thought it was because of the colder weather but it was a lovely 60's outside for the last few days and the sag was still prevalent. My XP suffers a bit more than my Xpedition dual battery but both 'Suffer from the Sag'. Is this common across... Read more ..read more
