I have a 2023 Kia Niro with onboard navigation. Worked fine for over a year. Then, an unauthorized navigation update corrupted the navigation soft ware. Gave me bizarre routings that would increase drive times by at least 50%. I have tried customer service, a local dealership, and Kia Navigation help number. No success so. I installed a hitch on my Launch Edition today. It was very easy. The hitch is a Curt 13329. It has a 2" square receiver. The instructions are clear and easy to follow with one exception. They include a spring and wire for installing bolts into the frame rails. You wind the spring onto the bolt and fish it into a hole in the frame rail with a block to keep it from turning when you tighten the bolt. I had a set of Goodyear Assurance Maxlife tires installed on July 9. At ~300 miles, the left rear started losing about 2 psi/day on July 18. I jacked up the car, rotated the tire, and found this: Stuff happens. I contacted BJs, where I bought the tires, and was told that they will not plug/patch a puncture that is less than 1.5" from the shoulder of the tread. This puncture is clearly far beyond that limit. I have a 2023 Niro with basic roof rails and need to install a roof lift for my kayak which needs to be able to utilize the rails not cross bars. The factory ones do not have any way to attach to it - has anyone else had this issue and resolved it? Can I replace the factory rails with ones that can be attached to? I hope this makes sense.
