Hi. Hope my wife and I are not the only ones to feel that our wonderful new Kia EV Wind has a headrest that is too far forward, so our head feels like it is being pushed undesirably. The headrest has a nifty sliding interlock that permits horizontal adjustment. Bummer that the rear-ward position puts it way too far forward. To add to the problem, the headrest is shaped like a boot from the side. The heel is pushing into our head. Nuts. Any remedies out there? Has anyone replaced this with a... Can anyone with a 2023+ Niro confirm if there has been an infotainment update that has added wireless CarPlay and/or Android Auto to the higher trim levels with the larger screen? We know the base model supports wireless from the factory, but the higher trim levels were all wired only. I'm swapping an engine on a friend's 2017 Niro (Overheating issue plaguing them all and it's puking coolant out the tailpipe), and i found an engine out of a 2020 and they are telling me it won't fit. I was having an intermittent issue with the backup camera and other display functions across the top banner either being delayed or not showing at all on the screen. Video of the issue was submitted to the Kia tech line. The final result was to replace the audio head unit. Needless to say, although the problem was not as bad, it was not solved. I have performed an update to my software, followed the instruction s to the letter, but it failed at the 1/4 point. After examining the process, I found the exact right stuff. It was the correct software, Non Navigation Display Audio for a 2019 Kia Niro EV without navigation. Today I saw a message on the screen that had never been displayed before. It wanted me to confirm an OTA update. In Australia the Niro was advertised as having OTA updates last year when we bought it. However, the only time we ever got updates was when it was serviced. Today it finally delivered on the promises and we got an update. It had only been serviced a few weeks ago so it was already fairly up to date with the new Evie charger lodations. Hi. I've not used my car for 8 days and it's not been charged as it had 86 percent when I last used it. I started the car today to give the engine a short run but didn't drive it. I then set a scheduled charge for this evening to top it to 100 percent. Having done this I checked the app to ensure the car schedule was active and saw there was a 12v warning status.
