I rented a 2024 Carnival for a 3hr trip. On the highway, though windy , the left side panel beside the windshield detached. On close examination of right side, I noticed the lower tip was not properly protected as in other vehicles, only held in place by 4-6 plastic pins. That is dangerous . I’m having an issue with the driver side automatic sliding door, it won’t close after pressing the respective buttons. The door can be opened automatically, but not closed. It seems to be an issue with the safety sensor (stop and reverse sensor, I assume) that has a cable that runs under the door’s rubber. Has anyone had a similar issue and how did they solve it? Hi all, We got this new Carnival 2024 during March and it's now about 1700miles, everything pretty good but today when I was on the highway with my cruise on at 65mph, a sudden braking happened and the cluster showed a logo that says "Emergency Parking", with three curvy arrows pointing to the side as a logo. I use the speedometer dynamic cluster and I'm just now noticing that it's not changing with the weather. The weather tile in the infotainment display states "weather information unavailable". I've googled the message. Some are saying that the weather updates are tied to the Kia Connect subscription, while others are saying it's broadcasted through the HD radio signal. So like many of you I experienced some slow to warm-heat in this engine/van. After digging deeper into the engine via scan tool, I have some info for you all. I'm Canadian so all my info is in Celsius - - - just convert to yanky F. As the engine starts to warm up that little digital coolant scale starts to climb.
