Greetings from Roosterpoot Arkansas! After months of looking, wife and I found an EX hybrid awd to replace her 10 yr old Chevy Cruze and only had to pay sticker price for it! Really liked the car but only got to drive it for 9 days when she got rear ended at a traffic light resulting in $15k + damages. Good day to u all. So bought this 2016 sportage EX and after a week or so I decided to take a trip. Well when I press the on/off button for my cruise control the cruise light comes on as normal without any problems. When I press down on the set switch sometimes it set light comes on and sometimes it doesn’t. Hi guys. Got my new Sportage a couple of weeks ago, and he first thing I tried to accomplish was opening my garage door. After hours of reading and online searching, I discovered that I didn't have a Homelink mirror in a car that had every other technical accessory available. I was floored. The automatic controls on the wipers work better than I expected. However, there are still times when I wish I had the “intermittent” setting so I could control the frequency of the wipers. This usually occurs in Auto mode when the wipers cycle too infrequently and the visibility out the windshield becomes too impaired before the wipers cycle again. Ok. Took my 2017 to a dealer. Won’t say which one. But, their service manager and I went round about. i am a former HVAC instructor Universal approved. That means Industrial, commercial, residential, auto. I have taught all these areas for 30+ years after being in the field 10. I am interested in buying a Sportage Hybrid. I test drove an SX Prestige trim level. The main feature I am looking for is something like autosteer on highways. Seems like every manufacturer calls it something different. I just want to have the car do the steering when I am long trips. I rented a Hyundai a few months ago and it had that.
