About a year and a half ago I was pretty critical of KIA/MapNSoft. Still am. Currently. A lot of their data, even today, is completely inaccurate. Even some of the main traffic corridors in my area have incorrect speed limit information or use grossly outdated data that doesn't reflect changes that can be five years old or older. I have a car play adapter which works fine BUT - I have two problems: 1.) When I make a phone call using the icon on my car's steering wheel, I can hardly hear the person talking on the other end. It is a single button Start Stop fob. After multiple presses and many horn honks the car started, and stopped on the next press. Does anyone have a link to a user manual? Or help on using it? The brake pads on my '22 Seltos SX with 30k miles are worn to 1/32" which I think is nuts. I drive this care like it's a manual, downshifting more than braking and always with the adaptive cruise control when on the road. My 2019 Santa Fe brakes were still at 4/32" at 49k miles. I had a Clutch Actuator Assembly installed by Kia which was still under warranty. Car wouldn't go into reverse. Took 2 months but, they fixed it. After picking the car up, was ridding home and noticed the AC/Heat instrument panel didn't work. None of the buttons or knob responds to touch. The windshield wipers don't work nor do the headlights. Sudden the iMT gears were stuck in middle of the traffic. I was not able to move the gear to any of the gear slot from neutral. I have complained this to dealer, They said they have changed the iMT gear box oil and now the gears will work fine. But, now i feel the gears are hard. Did anyone face the same issue ? 2022 Seltos Petrol iMT - I have an apple car play auto connect enabled with wifi and bluetooth. Daily morning, when I enter the car. The Apple car play gets auto connected and play a song, but the audio will not play. I have to put my phone in Flight Mode for few seconds and connect back, only then the song will play with audio.
