Cream Cheese Tarts 8-oz package cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp vanilla 6 vanilla wafers 1/2 can (21 oz can) cherry pie filling Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line muffin pan with cupcake papers. Put one vanilla wafer in each. Mix the cream cheese and sugar together until fluffy, then add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Spoon the mixture into each cup on top of the vanilla wafers. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove and allow to cool. The tarts will deflate and form a dip in the middle.
