Not much is known about the brand Rio. There's a Rio coming from the Standard Safety Razor Corp, Wilmington Delaware, but the Compendium distinguishes that Rio from the Rio we have here: The Rio GL, that nobody knows anything about, and looks a lot like the TGM, that nobody knows anything about either. This one just sold on Ebay for $432.00 U.S. I was only able to download this one photo of it but it shows what I wanted. It came in a cardboard box with the brand name NIBA on it and the words "The Perfect Safety Razor" in English and Italian.
