F&W menus announced - did they finally listen to Josh??

Even though I won't be able to attend this year, my curiosity got the better of me and I had to glance through the F&W menus announced today. When I got to Italy, I didn't know if I should laugh or cry - all three items are brand-new this year. I'm sad that we won't have Josh to describe them for us, but I know he'll be somewhere laughing at every single person who pays $14 for a thimble full of overcooked frozen gnocchi. We miss you, Josh. 2022 Food & Wine Menu Announcement - Disney... Read more ..read more

Opinions on AK end of day short visit
EasyWDW Forums

Is this realistic to get done at AK during a very short end of day visit at the end of August? End of August. Official Hours are 8am to 7pm. (I was hoping it would be open until 8pm but it looks like the hours are going to shorter) We want to do a pool morning. We also want to avoid the hottest of the hot hours of the mid afternoon. As a result, we would be at the park for the last 2.5 hours or so because of the early 7pm close time. This would be our only visit to AK. Have not been since... Read more ..read more

I see that there are no reservations availability for Hollywood Studios for October 10-14. Does anyone know why? These are the only dates without availability on the entire calendar, and of course that is when my family is planning to visit ..read more

Our Rescheduled August Trip

Originally, this family trip was scheduled for 2020, then 2021, then 2022... and we thought we were done with changes. (So did Becky, our awesome TA ) Then we find out our DD17 will be playing college soccer and DS20 is working 2 summer jobs and would also rather go when he's 21. No problem. We'll go without them. Perfecting timing, too, since the last time we went to WDW was 25 years ago, on our Honeymoon. And yes, we have pictures of that 25th anniversary cake castle. (Castle... Read more ..read more

Princess Day Success
EasyWDW Forums

I appreciated all the help I got here ahead of the one-day mission! It was a huge success for our princess, who was not ready to leave but did without any issues when we promised a bakery stop on the way out. She was fairly tired on the car ride to "the other park" where we were picking up the big boys, but never fell out, got upset, whined, begged, or otherwise acted like a kid who should have been exhausted! After showers and sleep, the next morning she wanted to know why we weren't... Read more ..read more

Does anyone have suggestions on which parking garage to use when visiting Disney Springs? I'm looking to park in one that I do not have to cross the pedestrian bridge walkways over roads. TIA ..read more

I sharpened my elbows but he's not here

I'm here at the parks this week, and it is not the same. I am sad a lot, especially when I see some of his favorite spots (Nomad Lounge especially. I went there a lot hoping to spot him and maybe even hang out). I wish he were still here. I wish he could have gotten to ride Guardians and tell us what he thought. I wish he could tell us again how silly all the tourists are. I hope he knew how much he meant to all of us, but I know the brain is funny like that ..read more

O'hare parking

A non-Disney question but I figured people here would know (and I trust your opinions). It's been years since I've flown out of O'hare and even longer since I've driven and needed to park. We are flying British Airways to London. Where should we park? Are there special considerations specific to O'hare ..read more

Split Stay and Epcot Resort Questions
EasyWDW Forums
by BSS

We've never done a split stay and never stayed in an Epcot resort, but are considering splitting between one of the Epcot resorts and our beloved Wilderness Lodge for our next trip. I have a couple questions: 1. Will Disney move our luggage on room change day? I know this used to always be the case, but just making sure this isn't one of the cuts that have been made. 2. What is your favorite Epcot resort and why? We are leaning towards Yacht Club largely because DS likes the look of it... Read more ..read more

Do I need to link reservations?

I am assuming that I don't but felt I should ask. Next month we are staying at OKW for a brief non-park stay. Was able to secure the first three days fine, but the fourth day had to be waitlisted. It has come through but it is showing as two separate reservations. I assume it is fine, but it would really suck to have to switch villas for one night ..read more
