The steering box cover that i removed i think was completely rotted through - i have bought a replacement which i need to paint before installation. However, i have tried every location and i can't work out where this cover fits - all i can think of is that it becomes a bit more obvious once i have the wing in place, but if someone can give me a description or photo of where it goes, i would appreciate it ( i did treble check that i have a RHD version ..read more

Fitting a temp gauge in the top hose of the 200tdi and have a couple of questions. Please see photo attached for reference. 1. Can I use a jumper wire from the 12v ignition connector, on the gauge, to the bulb? 2. Can I use a jumper wire from bulb earth to gauge earth connector and then use one common earth wire and earth point for the whole shebang? 3. I realise the bulb will be on all the time with ignition. Hope some of that makes sense ..read more

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204825348126 Because I am an absolute genius, I've spent almost 2 years getting my L322 to a really good place and being a reliable car which I love. In fact, so deep is my love for it that I saw a shiny (but broken) 4.4 TDV8 and bought that last week, having a pair of L322s flanking my wife's beloved D4 on the driveway hasn't gone down quite as well as I'd hoped so one of them has to go and (before you ask, no, it won't be my wife!). In all seriousness... Read more ..read more

Hi, I got my first discovery back in 2012 (I think). It was an N reg 300tdi - I loved that car and spent a lot of time working on it to get it sorted. I then made the HUGE mistake of selling it, i still regret it! I have recently bought another discovery, it's an M reg 300tdi - Now, this is my "toy", so it's a project. It's been off road a fair bit and has battle scars to prove it. But I do enjoy a project, and plan to sort everything out. Firstly, this was my first Disco. Before... Read more ..read more
