We have a 2018 Evoque, I noticed tinny rattling sound from the rear. On examination it turns out the the heat shield above the exhaust box had corroded around the securing nuts and washers? so was resting on the exhaust box causing the noise. Tried to loosen the nuts but I am not sure whether they are captive? there is no way of finding the bolt head in the boot without ripping out the preformed sound proofing as far I can see. Search shows some previous queries bu no answer to what seems to be a common issue because of the pooly sited reversing camera. 2018 HSA 2.0d. There are lots of different cameras for the Evoque but i have discovered the part number is LR118146 6 pins in 2 groups (4 & 2). The earlier cameras are available (6 pin in line) for under £!00 but the one I am after is fitted to Disco Sport, e-pace etc etc and can cost up to £500. I can't find the auxiliary battery in my 2016 Range Rover Evoque HSE, beginning to think there is none. I looked under the glove box behind the 3-clip plastic panel to no avail as well as the well next to the main battery under the hood. The dash message I'm getting is, "battery low start engine" as soon as I get in or right after turning off. It does have the start stop gas saving feature at a red light. It starts right up but do have to keep it running to open the rear hatch. My OEM battery is only 3 years old and did 16k around town miles, no mods, temperature-controlled garage kept.
