I rented a pretty sizable rototiller today to establish a garden plot in the cow pasture on the property out back. The rental guy looked at the LR4 and said, "Yeah, that should fit." So I put it in access mode to make it easier for him to ramp up the tiller in the back. Once he got it up past the tailgate, he said, "I'll leave it to you to push it the rest of the way in. I don't want to be responsible for tearing up your nice interior." I had the middle row seats folded down and...

I don't have my US version 2005 HSE RR owner's manual. The only thing I could find was RAVE zip and there, it is 2003 MY manual

Just replaced the rear wheel bearing and reassembled the original components of the EPB on my 2008 LR3. Got to the install of the original/removed "knurled adjuster" and pulled the two pieces apart to lubricate them before placement. One piece/end has the knurl on one end and the other end has male threads. The other piece is what I will call the "receiver" - just a blind hole - with no internal female threads or threaded piece that would engage with the male threads on the knurled piece...

Pls see photo. Curious to hear what you think this very small leak is. Location right under the engine block. Oil levels (coolant) and engine oil seem okay and I am keeping a close eye.
Would appreciate advice on how to narrow this down and potential correction, if any.
Thank you ..read more

Well 300 miles over my oil-change interval so thought I'd quickly take care of that over the weekend (extractor, new filter, take the old oil to AutoZone, etc).
Well, the old filter wouldn't easily come out of the cap, so in the application of the muscle to get it it out of there, off came the internal spring-loaded valve or whatever that fits in the top of the oil filter itself. You'll notice a little piece of plastic broke off—can't really explain that.
In researching this I found some...

Recently 2005 RR HSE (140K miles, US version) developed a situation: after locking car with remote or with the key, when unlocking it (either remote or key) rear doors, fuel cap and/or tailgate remain locked.
Based on my research across forums, people point out towards the problem with BCU (Body Control Unit) that is located under the passenger door. The strongest indication that it is BCU is that resetting BCU using central lock/unlock button on the console - pressing it 6-10 times to lock...

Pardon if there already is a Marketplace/Craigslist/Kijii thread for us to share good deals with each other.
Saw this, but 3.75hrs one way is too far. Seller says tires are 2018. So likely just buying the wheels. (Mud Tech 18's with Ko2's)
Seller took them off his LR4
He's near Syracuse NY https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/425633363493814/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp:b5b95c90-28b4-4826-a34e-f66a68ca2b86 ..read more

Hello all! I’m brand new to blogging, so bear with me! I have a 2011 LR4 with 263,000 miles on her…..yes you read that right! She’s running great, but my timing chain is more than likely on it’s last legs. The front is getting a bit noisy! Should I get e new timing chain installed (at the price of $8000-$13,000) or just call it quits and get a new vehicle? That’s a lot of money to spend on an old vehicle, and she really needs a new paint job ..read more
