Author: JonnyCJ Subject: How to get this part out Posted: Wed May 01 2024 1:53pm (GMT 1) I bought a used plenum off eBay (£20 delivered - bargain !) which came with throttle bodies, what I presume are MAP sensors ? various rubber connectors and jubilee clips. I’m taking it to my local gearbox specialist for them to put in their parts washer and will clean up everything I’ve taken off (throttle bodies, MAP sensors) by hand. I recently bought a smoke machine and completed a smoke test. No smoke came out of anywhere but I couldn’t build up any pressure when testing. There’s one each side and they get a bit mangled taking them off. I’m in the process of refurbing my wiper arms and whilst I’m going to the trouble of getting them off, I may as well refurb the scuttle panel. Since the part is burried under the center console, it would be a huge help to find the part number before hand. I have found some on ebay listings for around 20 euros or so but I am unsure if they are the correct one for my car.
