Hey!
I have a -99 P38 DSE
Today morning i noticed my doors were locked (i usually leave them open)
Tried opening with remote, nothing happened.
Opened manually with the key, and the door locks it self back.
I quickly jerked the door open and got in, and the car is totally mute.
Instrument panel does no light up at all, alarm light is flashing, beeps when key is inserted and stops when key is turned to position 2.
And a slight ticking sound under right front seat (BeCM?)
I disconnected...

Just had 4 new tyres fitted, garage says they should all be 40 psi.
Tyres are 255/50/20 Road tyres on L322 4.4 diesel V8.
I've looked through some of your posts and there seems to be a bit of variation in the answers ..read more

Hi,
As the title suggests really, does anyone actually use their rangie properly.
If i get another im looking to use it for green laning and pay and play sites, I would also like to use it as an expedition vehicle once or twice.
So, if you drive offroad what mods are you running??
Most offroad P38's ive seen have got coils on rather than the air springs.
How do you keep the ECU dry under the bonnet and the BECM dry in the cab??
Any other mods and where did you get them from...

I have a problem with the brakes in my P38 4.6. 2000.
When driving, once in a few brakings, the brake pedal is very, very hard to press, so it's hard to brake. And a moment later it works normally.
When driving, sometimes (quite often) you can hear something like "trtrtrtrtr" near the brake pedal.
There are no errors on the dashboard. The lights are not flashing. There are no errors in the Nanocom. There are no leaks (at least I didn't notice anything with the brakes or the brake pressure...

Hi all.
My rear wiper motor leaks when I use the washer.
I have taken the motor off and taken it apart.
I can see why it is leaking....it looks like an O ring /washer has deteriorated and dissapeared.
My question is this. Is there a fix for this or do i need to shell out for a new motor!!!
Many thanks ..read more

Has suddenly gone very stiff, so much so that I thought the plastic cabin lever might break. Its always been a bit stiff but always opened fine until today. Is it worth stripping it out and trying to lube the cables up? Or is it a faff and just buy a new one?
Britpart one OK?
Latches move freely btw.
I got it open eventually by working the lever in a motion not dissimilar to milking a cow but with a worried look on my face waiting for the 'snap' sound. Not got time to mess today so I'll...

Going to test drive a March 2011 Sport 3.0 tdV6 HSE diesel with 130,000km on it. Thoughts on that model? What specifics should I be asking about? I had a 2009 HSE and will be checking a few things for sure, but want to know what y'alls thoughts are. Thanks ..read more

Hi, I am new to the group and would like to ask for help.
I have been rebuilding a classic Range Rover 2 door for about 5 years, I have of course changed my mind about certain things, but have finally started putting it back together after completely rebuilding the chassis. I could have bought a new Gálvez one but decided I wanted to keep it as original as possible to maintain the identity.
The only change I have made is replacing the engine.( it came with a Perkins diesel).
I have bought a...

Hi there,
I have recently bought a 2003 L322 Range Rover. I have since noticed a problem with the lower part of the rear tailgate.
It appears that the latches don't properly engage when closing both parts of the tailgate. It means there seems to be quite a bit of movement once it's closed and locked.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know if it's easily fixable?
Thanks,
