Edit. Did it again. This time I was also accelerating, but not near as hard. Accelerating onto the interstate, RPM never got past 4000, and only momentarily. This is frustrating. This saved my bacon today. I've only had this for about 3 weeks but It beeped and alerted me to a temperature of 230. On my ancient truck, suddenly all of my instrument cluster lights, radio lights and tail lights suddenly quit working, as well as the alarm warning that I've left my headlights on. Hello, I have a 2004 Suburban Z71, that runs great, I’ve kept the mx up to date, doing most of it myself. It has many new/repurposed parts. I’d hate for it to have reached the end of its life with 224,000 miles on it. My instrument cluster displays the check engine, ABS, check 4WD, and the voltage, fuel and temperature gauges work intermittently. The chime will sometimes ding for 10 minutes or longer. I am the original owner of the truck. My muffler is making a rattle sound like "marbles inside" when I take my foot off of accelerator. I have never changed the muffler and therefore OEM.
