Foldable, Lightweight, Electric Trikes

I am getting more wobbly on my electric bike and am considering getting an electric trike, but I'd like to put it on a bike rack. There are a lot of these available which are foldable, but they fold into a square to fit inside a car trunk. I'm envisioning one that would fold sideways, to be narrower, to fit on some kind of bike rack, since i do not have a car trunk. Anyone have any experience with these ..read more

Wet floor in bathroom

So i need to replace some damaged floor about a 2' x2' area under the vanity and back corner of my shower. I know the flooring is made of a thin wood base with foam board topped with 5/16 plywood. I want to know how the metal base/joist framework underneath is laid out. Is it a 12" square metal grid base or something similar? I want to know where to cut so I can reach solid metal. I can seem to find any Winnebago drawings for that ..read more

Dead discussions?

Not sure where to post this; another forum I'm on has a message that shows on the "reply" box for old discussions. Basically it just reminds the reader that the discussion died some time back, there have been no updates, and asks if the comment adds enough to the conversation to resurrect it. I only mention this because I've come close to this a couple of times myself when I forgot to check the "use by date" on the last post ..read more

For the last two years, I have been trying to find the best way to make a good cup of Coffee. [_]>"""" Boiling water seems the fastest, as we have a Microwave and induction cooktop. Being nearly 80, years-old I have made Coffee in many different ways. Cowboy Coffee is a Pot on fire with Coffee grounds boiling, when ready dump ice cold water on top, and coffee grounds fall in the water and serve. French Press is a true love. When the water temperature hits 195 degrees, drop in Coffee... Read more ..read more

What's with vibrato?

I must admit that I'd never heard this term until a few years ago when a talented musician told me "you've got an interesting vibrato". Wish I'd asked him to explain. Today, after watching some talent shows (American Idol and The Voice) where vibrato was mentioned several times, I decided to Google; Some interesting results, including: Vibrato: What It Is and How to Develop It — SingWise I'm not conscious of any vibrato that emanates from my voice. How do folks know they have one... Read more ..read more

As stated, we are looking into a drive across Canada. We will be driving up from Florida. No dates have been set and it may not happen this year. Our 2021 Galleria is a diesel holding 30 Gallons. We did once look into the train across Canada, but to many stops and go's, with disembarking at each stop. "too crazy for us" We talked about the three points of entry shown by the red arrows. Then on the exit, we would drive down to see the grandchildren in Utah. Stay a few weeks and drive back to... Read more ..read more

The “DUSTY TRAVELERS,” as we enjoy our road trips and seeing the country by Campervan. Beginning May 8th T-Mobile will begin "Geofencing" their Home Internet service so there will be no more taking your router with you on the road. At the same time they will be offering a mobile service for, get this, $160.00 a month. If your caught with your router outside your home address area they can and will cancel your service. T-Mobile can easily tell if your router has moved or is moving. Most likely you will get an initial warning but there is no guarantee. The free ride is over... Read more ..read more
