Folding Glass Stovetop Cover

New to the Jayco family. Just recently purchased a 2021 Jayco Alante 27A. Sold a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 32H. On my Jayco the stovetop cover doesn't fold up like my Fleetwood did. I've tried folding it in both directions. Neither get the cover out of the way for the back two burners. What am I doing wrong. Or are the hinges on the wrong side of the glass. 2018 Pinnacle slides and awning all inoperable

A few months back I noticed that all my slides and the awning wouldn't retract. When I use the toggle switches in the panel for any of them I hear a click sound from the electrical panel, but no motion. Same with the awning. I have tried this while connected to shore power, just on fully charged batteries, and with the Lippert Digital control touchscreen. It makes the little gear turning icon, but no action takes place. Any ideas ..read more

Any ideas for no fan, or A/C 2007 Jay-Flight

Hello, I have a 2007 Jay-Flight JAYF31BHDS and we went to turn on fan / AC and nothing would turn on. No click or blower motor or anything. After checking all breakers, fuses I decided to replace thermostat. I bought a digital one to upgrade during the fix. That did not work and I noticed also there seemed to be no power to the new thermostat. I checked power with a volt meter (I believe the red / white is positive & white is ground?) and did not see any voltage. I'm wondering if a rodent got in there and chewed something. So I noticed there's a harness that goes to unit in ceiling. Those ..read more

Hitch height

So I purchased a 2011 Eagle 351 RLTS. It’s our first 5er, always had bumper pulls. It’s in Arizona right now and I’m in Canada. My question is: does anyone know what the height is of the fifth wheel pin when the trailer is sitting level? I’m in the process of getting a hitch installed in my GMC 2500 standard box (2024) and the truck seems to sit plenty high. I want to be close to the right clearances before I make the trip down there to move it a short distance to my winter site. The truck has the puck system and I’m going with a Curt hitch ..read more

Mosquitoes, I hate em

We returned a few days ago from a short trip and parked under our shed as usual. The weather has turned to summer and the humidity is getting high. Both AC units ran quite a bit on the trip. Climbed on the roof to do some cleaning this morning and when I sprayed around the AC units about a zillion mosquitoes came out. Question: Is it possible the AC frames can hold water while traveling down the highway and give those pests a place to breed? Any thoughts ..read more

Deadbolt Lock
Jayco RV Owners Forum

Came back from the grocery store, slipped my key into the deadbolt lock and turned it to the right as I always do. Only this time, it moved about 1/3 of the way and stopped cold - it would NOT MOVE forward or back. I pulled on my key and it came out in my hand. Called a Locksmith and he was dumfounded. he used his power pick and managed to release the actual deadbolt to move out of the locking position but could not operate the lock itself with a key. So I have to order a new door pull on the inside and outside with two locks. Anybody else deal with this ..read more
