Thinking Finally Going With BOA

Currently run Burton Imperial Speed Lace. They have served me well and Burton's fit me pretty well. The only downside is that I wear then very tight and combination with my binding straps being ratcheted tight I have no ability to micro adjust the boots in the lift line / on the chair. This causes some foot discomfort (already have remind insoles heat molded) w/o the ability to loosen to help blood flow. I intend to head to the local shop and try on a few pairs; Burton ION BOA, K2... Thinking Finally Going With BOA ..read more

Hello everyone, If anybody has ridden both of them please tell me which one would be more damp and stable for all day resort riding. I have ridden Stale Crewzer with D.O.D. and it felt very damp and stable and I'd love to know how it compares to Party Mod. Thank you all ..read more

East Coast 2nd board rec (All Mountain Freestyle? rough trees, butters, side hits, making the whole mountain a playground)

5'11", 200 pounds, size 11 boot. Currently riding a 161W Jones Stratos, which has been mostly great here and Colorado. But I very much struggle with it in tighter trees and moguls when things are hard pack, trenched/bumped out, and generally unforgiving - which, admittedly, is most of the season here on the ice coast. Plus, with my kids, my runs are slowing down so I'm looking to make things more interesting and get into buttering and generally making the whole mountain more of a... Give me good options for chicken legs
Snowboarding Forum

Obviously I'm gonna try them in store, but curious if anyone has ideas of what to start looking for. I'm a size US9 (Mondo 27), but have skinny little chicken legs. Current boots are DC Phase Pros - I like them, feels like the right amount of flex, but it's hard to get them tight enough around my legs. Foot and ankle are fine, but it takes some incredible BOA cranking action to get the darn things tight around my shins. I've got Eliminator tongue shims, which help a ton, but.. still not... Questions about Radius and Depth of the side cut

¡¡¡Hola!!! How stiff of a board do you like and why?

I don't have the chance to demo any boards so it's just taking chance on one and the one I just got seems too stiff. Perhaps I could adjust but first impressions are it's too stiff. Curious why you like the board you do ..read more

Thoughts on the Ride Deep Fake - Sizing and Two Board Quiver with K2 Excavator
Snowboarding Forum

I picked up a K2 Excavator and rode it near 20 times this season at CO resorts. I went normal sizing for me with a 158 (268 waist) and I really love it despite the extra width. Super fun, carvy, poppy, great all mountain and powder/trees board. But it can get a little chattery in the nose and less stable at speed and with hard uneven snow. I'll be making a separate post with a detailed review for this deck soon. I'm looking to get a second board now for more freeride, big mountain...
