Hi there,
I am trying to sell my car and when a potential buyer looked the dipstick handle came off in his hand, I have a replacement dipstick coming today but I cannot find the dipstick to pull out (with pliers) to then replace with the new one.
Surprisingly a google search is no help either. It definitely has a dipstick, is the E220 2015 model, not one of these no dipstick ones.
Please can someone tell me or give me a photo so I can see where it goes?
Thanks in advance,

Morning all,
Has anyone had any history of missing object numbers when the report is generated by the Xentry unit?
My EML light came on the morning and as I was close to my local indy, I swung in and they plugged it in.
This pic is what popped out, where the object number missing in relation to whatever part is causing the issue in the NOx system?
They asked if it has had any software updates, which it hasn't in my time with it (4yrs).
Has anyone had any experience with this ..read more

I've just fitted a new EGR valve which isnt working, it gets stuck open or closed when the turbo boosts up and I get a limp mode. It was fine on the motorway without any harsh acceleration.
I've looked at the old EGR valve an Pin 2 was bent. What is this pin for? Could this pin have been intentionally bent to prevent a fault being registered previously ..read more

Since buying my 5th Merc (CLS350d), I have been deadlocked in the car on four occasions, exiting only by crawling into the back of this four door coupe and escaping through back doors, the front doors both deadlocked with me and the key IN the car.
Various Merc garages (not dealerships) tried to locate the problem but could not see any logged error codes, and when I paid £1,000 to have both front door locks changed, the problem was still present. I made a complaint to MB HQ customer...

Hello all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction, before I spend a fortune replacing sensors etc..
I've got a 2013 Vito w639.
Just gone into limp mode and 'Temperature high, turn off immediately' warning came on. Checked and engine wasn't even hot to touch, coolant wasn't hot at all. Has anyone had this or have any idea what it could be?? I've had a fault in the past with warning 'coolant Temperature out of range'.. really need this van and any help would be greatly appreciated ..read more

Well well well! Not long had the beast back from my Fav indy garage and all going very well until this morning with my darling wife in the car, it decided to suddenly drop it's rear air suspension right down to the floor! Was doing 40mph when it happened so had to pull over asap , call to RAC and after a couple of hours recovery came to take me and my poor beasty to John Haynes in Worthing, the service manager said it could be the levelling rod it's it's snapped as front suspension is fine...
