Anyone know if the idling revs on the W203 are electronic controlled,now the frosts are here it seems the engine revs could be turned up a wee bit,engine is running cold for longer but grand when warmed up after driving through slow traffic for twenty minutes or so. Hi all, I am trying to clear the code p13e400 for the adblue system on a 2016 Vito. Adblue injector is new, dpf is cleaned not clogged, and no other error code is present. Hi all, I was driving on the motorway and suddenly heard rattling noise from engine, and noticed clouds of white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. Ever since my car has been shaking/vibrating, and also experiencing underacceleration as well as misfire when stopping (sometimes). Can anyone advise what this could be? The future sil has taken delivery of a hybrid Range Rover. A nice car for sure. Anyways he was about to order a charger for about £1K, I suggested seeing about a 2nd hand unit, as many people having tried the EV route are seemingly not massively impressed. He picked up a 7Kw (single phase) Solo Smart charger for £1.50 So I ran a 6mm2 supply to it. The principle of a 7Kw supply to a 7Kw end unit isn't so straight forward though, apparently. 1) on cold start, experiencing alot of white smoke, bad gas-like smell from engine, and engine shakes/vibrates heavily, even when driving down a little down the road, then goes back to normal after. 2) when warm, no smoke or smell but engine still vibrates a little when stationary 3) also noticed the powers a little different; would have to accelerate harder so car would change gear and rev up (but not like a major loss of power) Does anyone have any ideas what this could be ..read more

Now the colder weather is here, I started to notice that the SL's engine temperature has been quite erratic in the warm up stage. On Saturday it came up with an EML light which relates to the three disc thermostat stuck open, coolant taking too long to heat up.
