I've been driving my 2014 CLA45 (98k miles) in snow recently and whenever the wheels slip, I get a message that says '4MATIC CURRENTLY UNAVAILIBLE'. And the rear wheels stop engaging. Obviously, this makes the traction even worse. I read in the owners manual that the message means the 4matic system as overheated. This makes sense, as the message goes away after the car has cooled down. It just seems weird that it "overheats" pretty much immediately. I have the usual transmission gear change thud too, but this happens after a cold start when the car has been parked up a while. After ive engaged drive, let off the parking brake and have my foot on the brake pedal. Then when the wheels first turn, there is a loud knock which sounds like its coming from the rear but Im not 100% on that. Hey guys. Tried to do a search to see if anyone else has had this issue but couldnt find anything. I noticed my two week old cla is having an issue with moisture. I go to the grocery store while it raining and when I get back to the car every window is fogged up. Also noticed when I was my car the front windshield gets fogged up. Hi everyone, had a brand new cla 250e hybrid for a few months now. Just wanted to know what the most economical driving mode/style was for long distance. I am currently charging fully, using eco (battery) in the city till I hit the motorway then switching into battery level for the long distance cruising and reverting back to eco (battery) in the city at the destination. I just got the 303 Clay mitt from Amazon and tried it out today. I have used Nanoskin clay sponge and this 303 clay mitt works great. fits like a hand glove and very quickly create a smooth glass like surface. I didn't need any special detailing spray lubricant.
