Hey guys, A meet im going to is a week away and my problems with my car keep getting worse, nothing major just nickel and dime stuff. My low fuel light came on yesterday, I posted something previously in the Accent Tuner board about this, since I swapped clusters. I have a full tank of gas, I tried relieving pressure in the gas tank by letting it breathe with the cap off for a while, the light still stays on. Tried disconnecting the battery for a while, no luck. I couldn't find much in... Low fuel light on with a full tank of gas ..read more

Hey....I am hoping someone had this issue..... Getting a P1140 DTC which is air temp sensor.... This is a late 03 so it has a Mass airflow sensor and the temp sensor is built within it..... I replaced it with 2 diff new rebuild A Cardone units...still setting the same P1140 code.....After a day or two it also sets a P2195 which is a bank 1 sensor 1 Lean Code....I assume its caused by the temp sensor telling it to lean out....Ive looked all over the web... ..can't find a solution... checked... 2003 Elantra W/ P1140 problem.. need help ..read more

Can I fix this recall notice myself?

Specifically referring to recall 23v-651 (link not allowed since this is first post). 2012 Hyundai Accent My girlfriend took it to the dealership mechanic after the ABS warning light came on, and after merely reading it with the code reader they said there was nothing they could do because there is no remedy put out by Hyundai yet. Now my girlfriend is too afraid to drive (and thus, obviously I am doing a lot more traveling all over town). And yeah, I know the recall notice literally... 2016 Hyundai Elantra 1.8L rough idle when warm

Can anyone point me in a diffrent direction to try and fix this problem. First off I have a 2016 Hundai Elantra limited 1.8L with 100k. My car starts and drives great, but after anywhere between 4 and 60 miles in starts to idle like a Harley. It will only do it when at a stop, no matter the gear you are in. If you give it the slightest bit of gas it smooths out. If you shut the car down for maybe 5 to 10 minutes, the process starts over again. And you have from 4 to 60 miles before it does... 2016 Hyundai Elantra 1.8L rough idle when warm ..read more

basically, I've got a boosted 08 Elantra 5spd that currently has a cvvt head on it. couldn't find any solution for tuning the car with the stock ecu so I turned to a microsquirt as a standalone without realizing that i wouldn't be able to control said cvvt(if it was a simple on off operation I could with it being continuous I can't). My thought was to swap back to the previous gen head that is non cvvt from the research I did i found no reason they wouldn't be compatible. any knowledge of... Hi all, I have a 2001 LC Accent, it has 240xxx kms on it and the last 30000 km have been quite harsh on it, the motor is feeling pretty tired, it has a bit of blow-by, its burning a bit of oil to. By no means is it dead, it’s still reliable as ever but I’m considering the idea of dropping in a newer and less abused, Alpha motor out of a Getz. I would just like to know if anybody has done this before and what I should be aware of, or if anyone just has knowledge on what I’m looking at in...
