Thought I would crack on with May. It's the 3rd. I haven't merged into May very well, I have already got my days mixed up. But that's the fault of the town having their May Fair trade stalls today instead of tomorrow. It's the village May Fairs tomorrow x2. So maybe they feel everyone will just go to that instead. I went to a Horses Inside Out demo last night, I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve knowledge of anatomy and function. Gillian was engaging and entertaining and had so much to share. She shared some great pole exercises, and a few non pole ones and explained how they help the horse physically develop in a positive way. Not sure this will be of interest to anyone, but.... This is all my understanding from the vet so bear with me if I get it wrong Two weeks ago I quite by accident found a large hard lump halfway down Harvey's neck (a bit bigger than a golf ball). Its not visible and in fact even knowing its there its not easy to find. The vet came out next day but couldn't really say much without further investigation. Sorry about previous post. Short story robin is lame again/still. Same front foot. Seemed ok. Took him to show. He was delighted to be out but after not being sure warming up he hobbled round first turn. Put hand up and withdrew. Gutted. He was game to carry on. But he was lame, not just a bit off. This might be a really stupid question. Ales behavior is getting progressively worse for his trims. At first I thought he just wasn't settled at the yard but now I'm thinking pain. He's okay when I pick his feet out but not great like he used to be, but fine for a quick pick out. He's got his vaccs and teeth in a couple of weeks so I'll speak to the vet then, wondered about getting bute to use for a few days occasionally before a trim, or something similar. Seems to be going as swimmingly well as horse hunt 1 which resulted in being booted by first horse, almost bucked off by second and the third one dropping dead before I went to see it.
