Hi all! I recently quit my job, got a camper van, and have started hitting the road. My wife and I did 3 week NorCal to Dallas and back (eclipse) and return home tomorrow. Lots of cool desert riding along the way. I still have a couple weeks to travel (solo) so was thinking of a trip up your way to ride and ride some more. The question! Are there any mountains/areas worthy of visiting that aren’t covered in snow/mud now that you could help me explore/recommend? I’d say I'm an expert... Help me with a trip ..read more

EMTB Vail without a lift pass

I'd like to ride Vail mountain on a class 1 eMTB without having to buy a lift ticket or area pass. But looking at Trail Forks it appears that the resort has made this impossible with a combination of directional trails and trails closed to ebikes. Anyone have any experience or advice with this ..read more

Hello All, I'm facing a dilemma and could use your advice. I'm debating between the Polygon Siskiu T8 and the Capra Core 1. I understand that one is considered a Trail bike and the other an Enduro, and they both suit my activities—I plan to do trails, jumps, and eventually some downhills. Capra is currently on sale and I like its downhill capabilities. However, I'm concerned about how it performs uphill and on relatively flat trails, especially since it's 3 pounds heavier than the T8. I've... Polygon Siskiu T8 OR YT Capra Core 1 ..read more

AITA for trying on helmet in the shop and then ordering one online?

So, I went into my LBS, and tried on some full faces. Shop guy was super helpful, I was leaning towards the specialized gambit but they didn't have that in stock in the color I want, and I wanted to read some more reviews before buying, etc. Anyways, looked online, specialized website has that helmet, the right color and size and it's $100 cheaper than the shop. I can order it, and pick it up from a specialized dealer- ie, the LBS where I tried it on. Will the LBS get any commission from... Flo brake levers for Shimano

Just a brief review. I bent the crap out of my right hand SLX brake lever late last season and replacements have been unavailable/back ordered for a while so my bike shop guy recommended these as an upgrade. I would've been happy enough with black but he recommended "jet fuel," because "black is boring." Have to admit they look pretty good on there, and they work well too. The reach adjust wheel is small and a little tricky to turn but not awful, and the shifting colors can be a... Flo brake levers for Shimano ..read more

Hey guys, So i updated my rig recently and in the same breath picked up the new version of Fox's tailgate pad, the Mission. It ended up snowing this week so i haven't had a chance to give it a go but i have checked it over and came up with one question, does anyone know if there happens to be a storage pocket anywhere on it to hold the strap threading devices? The pad is so well thought out that it would surprise me to learn it doesn't. Thanks you in advance ..read more
