Hi Folks the other day after working a 12 hour shift I hopped into the car and started up put my foot on the brake to move it into drive and IT WOULDNT. Looked in the mirror and checked the brake lights NOPE NOTHING So assuming the brake light switch had gone I took my T5 - transporter home and ordered a new switch. I changed it today and still NADA! I own C30 2012 D3. I would like to improve sound but keep the DPF and I heard 2 things: 1. DPF back (small muflers or just pipe) will improve the sound 2. No way to improve the sound without removing DPF I know some people with older D5 did DPF-back and got nice results, but DPF in D5 and newer D3 is different (not sure if DPF in D3 is blocking sound more then the older DPFs). Did anyone here (or knows someone) did DPF-back on D3 and saw some improvement? Hi all, I bought a 2nd hand V50 2011 2.0 L Petrol Powershift with 198000 km on it, the other day. It is still in an exccelent condition for a vehicle this old with so many kilos. I got a problem after I did an oil and spark plug change, because I did not get a service record with it. Does anybody know what this "bolt" is used for on the Electronic Throttle Module (please see attachments). Driving down to Devon last week when I got home i noticed all my stuff and spare clothes in the OFFSIDE REAR footwell was drenched! It had been heavy rain all the way down so checked window was closed, door seal etc all good. So took the mat out and dried it and borrowed my mates Vax with a hand nozzle to suck out water that was there (it was sopping wet!) Hi Well I ended up having to replace the right hand caliper Ive also change both discs as I bought these several years ago for another car. Now despite SOAKING the brake union joints for 4 days they wont budge. I managed to crack the joing fton the flexible hose BUT it wont turn on the metal pipe. Ive had this before ending up with a twisted and knackered pipe. Can anyone point me to or post a schematic of the brake lines please. I cant find anything online. I basically need to know WHERE the solid metal pipe vanishes to after the flexy hose AND what THE PART Nos are for those pipes. This ..read more
