Hello all! I have a 2000 BMW Z3. For a while now my heat/AC knob has gotten tighter when turning to the heat side. Yesterday when trying to turn it through the spot where it gets jammed up, I heard a snap or letting go sound. Can anyone tell me what part has probably broken? Hi all! I own a 2000 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster. Have had an issue with the AC/Heat blend dial sticking when turning it in the heat direction. Usually I can get it past the part where it sticks but today I must have turned it with a little bit too much force and heard and felt something give. Now the dial just turns left and right without engaging. Unfortunately it is on heat mode and I cannot turn it off. Summer is just around the corner. Any idea what has broken? SMG Problems Need Advice!! Need help, at my wits end. I have read for hours the posts on SMG issues on this site. I have an 04 645 with SMG, omly 34,000 miles and I am getting the transmission malfunction death sign. I have swapped the Salmon relay, no luck. The odd thing with mine is I never have issues while the car is driving /running. The only time I get the malfunction is after I park to go inside somewhere for 30 minutes or an hour. Hey Everyone. I have a unique issue that only occurs when I am refueling. Car has a difficult time restarting, but once it does, there are no issues. It only happens after I gas up. No error codes that I have been able to see that would help me solve this issue and I have scoured many forums to try and find a solution but nothing concrete. I've found that it could be air getting into the line when I refuel and it has to get the air out until the injectors finally fire up. Hi BMW community, My driver’s side window lock and window controller suddenly stopped working. The BMW dealer charged me ~600 (three hours labor at a slight discount) to diagnose the problem and concluded the GM5 is bad but I don’t agree (see test results below). Can anyone help me with this or give me their opinions. Hi, new to group. Outgoing Z4 E85 3.0i ? . I have just acquired an E93 a few weeks ago and all seemed ok but recently an EML came on when I opened roof. It’s happened several times as I finish open/close at idle. If I switch ignition off it resets and runs as normal. I’m suspicious of the battery? I also get a rough idle now. Kept getting a small evap leak code. Changed everything possible, check engine light went off but came back on 2 weeks later. Noticing a smell of gas near rear passenger seat. Only part not replaced is the fuel pump. Being a 7 passenger, we would have to remove middle seat to access the fuel tank. Could fuel pump be the problem or gasket around fuel pump. Looking for a high quality, durable side window deflectors for F06. Anybody know of a reputable source? I know it’s available for other BMW models but I can’t find a set for the 6 series...
