Is there a way to prevent kodi to resume playback automatically when tv turned on and last media is in background?

Hi all,
I'm Kodi 20.3 on Raspberry Pi OS x64(fully updated) with a Toshiba TV and a Rii mini i25 remote(which I'm pretty sure appears to the os/kodi as a keyboard).
The rii remote pretty much just worked out of the box with kodi, but I want to be able to control the tvs volume via the rii remotes volume up/down/mute buttons. Right now when I press volume up/down/mute, the volume controls kodis built in volume, not the tvs. If I use the remote that came with tv, it can control kodi(I.e. I can navigate with the up/down/left/ right buttons) so HDMI-CEC works, but I hate the tv remote.&nbs ..read more

How to install TV Headend Server using a Hauppauge USB WinTV-SoloHD
or USB WinTV-DualHD tuners (for Australia and NZ)
running on PI OS Lite on a Pi Zero W.
.
Australia and NZ use European standards DVB-T and DVB-T2.
Hauppauge are a little vague on Pi OS on the other European tuners.
interestingly they also have firmware for a satellite usb tuner
suitable for Australia and NZ.
Might be worth a look if you're looking for options outside
Australia and NZ.

Hi,
Is it possible to copy the video library database from a HTPC (PC) to libreELEC (pi 5) so that when I play movies/tv on the libreELEC, it would work like on the HTPC?
What files do I need to copy from the HTPC to the libreELEC?
The movies/TV shows files are stored on another PC, which is shared via SMB.
The reason I want to do this is because adding the video files into movie library in LibreELEC is taking a really long time vs on the HTPC.
All of the nfo files of the movies are on the local hdd (scraped locally), so I don't need to scrape it again on TMDB etc ..read more

Hi Everyone,
tl;dr I can't seem to get HDR content to display properly if using limited range on TV, can't get standard content to display properly if using Full Range on TV. Not sure where the issue is.
I'm running LibreELEC on a Raspberry Pi 5 which is being served media from an UNRAID server I have got going.
It's hooked up to a Hisense U6K, which I must say has excellent format support - Dolby Vision, HDR10+ etc. I have dialled in the video settings as best I can and I must say I was getting great picture quality from all my "traditional" media. One thing that did stum ..read more

What I want/need:
Streaming web pages/content from Windows 10, MS Edge browser via LAN to Raspian Bullseye, Kodi 18.7 Leia.
Screen: a non-smart tv device, connected via HDMI to the Raspi.
What works:
I can stream audio, image and video files from Windows Explorer or from apps like Windows Media Player to the Raspi-Kodi and watch it on the tv device. No problems at all.
What doesn't work:
Streaming any screen content from MS Edge Browser (latest version) to the Raspi-Kodi.
Error message: No streaming client device found.
Maybe, "no device" means that Kodi doesn't present a ..read more

On Slackware aarch64 I built Kodi Nexus 20.5 successfully. LibCEC was recognized
and compiled in. However Settings -> System -> Input -> Peripherals does not show
a CEC adapter. This is same for Slackware arm 15.0 (32 bits).
Previous year I built Kodi Matrix on Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye with working CEC
support.
CEC is working, because using cec-ctrl I can switch my television on and off.
Could it be the CEC adapter has not been built at all? Despite of not having
errors during building. How to debug or solve this ..read more
