Court has had my address incorrect for a long while now, causing me to not receive notices. Can I backdate the Notice of Change of Address form?

I'm referring to this form here: Notice of Change of Address or Other Contact | California Courts | Self Help Guide Due to some error of the court, they have had my incorrect address for quite some time now. Therefore, can I backdate in question 1 ("as of _____[date]") or do I have to put today's date? The reason I would like to backdate is so that if any notices were sent that I missed, I'd like the judge to know that the reason is because the court has had an incorrect address for me... Who knows. I had the land and house inspected and the inspector said the septic was in the backyard and probably needed pumped.

So.... I just bought and moved into a house that was built in the 50's. It hasn't had many updates since then so I am assuming the septic system was put in then, too. My neighbor, came up to my husband yelling about property lines and how she bought land that was once owned by the owner of our house. Our house used to sit on 1 whole acre. Now it sits on 1/2 of an acre. The lady told my husband how she pitched a fit for 1/2 of the land because she felt entitled to it because her family used... Read more ..read more

I have a federal criminal complaint against me for threatening federal official. I have been fighting with the Government about veterans benefits. My contention with my lawyer is that she brought up none of the violations of that I asked her to bring up prior. Taking my words out of context, citing events with no supporting evidence, using photos to show me as an aggressor than not providing the video in pretrial discovery 90 days later, and stating that a threat was made when talking to... I just got a notice from my landlord that there is a roach problem in my building and they need to spray/bait every unit because of it. However, I don't have any roaches, eggs, or any insects whatsoever in my specific unit, and I'm not comfortable with chemicals being sprayed in my living space because I have a family history of lung cancer (especially if there isn't a problem in my unit to begin with). So I would like to know what the law is regarding this? Does there need to be actual... Read more ..read more

My Fiance recently bought a car. When he structured the deal and signed all the paperwork it included the full trade in amount on his truck. We canceled his upcoming automatic payment due to it being structured in the deal for the 10 day pay off and our monthly payment was due 15 day later. A month later we saw that the truck was still not paid off. What had happened was the dealership had decided to pay off what would have been left had we paid the last upcoming monthly payment...
