Hello,
I recently upgraded to the AirPods 4 with AMC and have been a little surprised at the battery life (or lack of) compared to the AirPods 2.
I barely (if ever) use the AMC features, but I do use Spatial Audio, my actual listening habits have not changed at all since the upgrade, but I find by the time I go to charge the headphones they are already down to about 20% (this is usually after 7 days use). This is fine obviously because I'm getting a good 7 days use, but my old AirPod 2's...

Looking to replace the apple ear buds I'm currently using for my desktop system. They don't need to be super fancy since this is not a high-end "audiophile" system, but I still want them to sound good. If I were to spend anything, I would probably like to keep it between $150-300 CAD. Can probably stretch it a little further, but I don't want to spend much more than that as a "worst-case" scenario. One of my brothers has a pair of the Meze 99 Classics, so that's kind of the max I...

As audiophiles, we're constantly seeking that perfect in-ear monitor (IEM) to elevate our listening experience. While flagship models from major brands often get the spotlight, there are several underrated IEMs that fly under the radar, offering exceptional performance and value without the fanfare. These hidden gems deserve more recognition for what they bring to the table—whether it’s a unique tuning, impressive build quality, or simply delivering more than their price tag suggests.
Let's...

Hello
I am looking for non selective noise blocking headphones. What i mean by that is that it doesn't matter what technology it uses (ANC or thick padding to block noise) but i want it to block ALL external noise. It dosent matter what type it is (conversation, bomb exploding.. hehe or other music etc.) I just want total quiet irrespective of whats going on outside.
I was told that the Bose and the Sony top of the line models 1000XM5 are designed to allow some noise in like conversations...

I bought a Dragonfly Colbalt DAC to use with my B&O H100 headphones to listen to Hi-Res audio (Apple Music, flac, Tidal, etc), on my Mac and iPhone.
The setup with Apple Music seems straightforward - in Settings, enable the highest-bitrate option.
The music through the DAC sounds worse than without it -- treble heavy to the point of sounding harsh/distorted, weak bass, minimal stereo separation/soundstage.
Am I doing something wrong here? The vast majority of reviews say the sound...

I love the sound of my earbuds. Staging is not a problem, clarity is not a problem, but the lack of any low frequencies is a problem. Is it possible to listen to music on my iphone through earbuds, and send the same signal in a pre amp form for a sub amp? Using earbuds eliminates the need for mids and tweets, and everything it takes to run those speakers. A pair of subs and an amp would make a nice sounding system for very little $$$...is there any type of car audio device that can do this ..read more
