Not sure if anyone else is aware of this release, but I found this because of their other products which are CD players.
It looks like the Japanese company km5 are releasing some wireless headphones which give heavy Koss vibes. They are called the Lightwear Headphones Hp1 and from what I can tell from Google Translate at least they are being funded on a website that is the Japanese equivalent to Kickstarter.
At the very least from a design standpoint thought they looked pretty clean (hoping they aren’t just a case of style over quality) and after looking on here it looks like no one has mentio ..read more

Hello! I’d like to ask for advice on choosing headphones. I’m currently deciding between the HyperX Cloud III Wireless and Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed. Bluetooth and a detachable microphone aren’t necessary for me – what’s important is comfort for FPS games. I want to know which option would be more reliable, of better quality, and more comfortable in terms of sound and build. I’m a bit worried that the Razer headphones might be easy to break, based on their appearance. In general, I’d really appreciate some advice on which to choose.
My budget is around $100-$150, and I’m located in German ..read more

I’m new to this area, and have done a lot of research recently on headphones and amps. I’m looking to get a pair of open back headphones for the primary purpose of listening to music - Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Boston, Faith No More, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. (maybe some bass heavy hip hop every now and then, but I don’t care as much about that). I also care about being able to appreciate more dramatic orchestral pieces and film scores, like stuff from Interstellar or Lord of the Rings.
I’m planning on using these headphones exclusively at my desk with my PC.
I’m probably not willing to spend m ..read more

I’ve heard just about every headphone out there as of this Summer, so I guess I’m probing the cracks here. I’m looking for something up to $500-ish to include in my next 4-way shootout, that’s actually available on the market(sorry, Ukrainian Verum stuff). I was going to include DT1990, but I’m about certain it will have the typical Beyer brightness issue.
My favorite sounds:
Stax L500 (favorite Stax)
Warwick Aperio (#2 rank)
RAAL Immanis/Magna (#1 rank)
RAAL CA-1a (#3 rank)
LCD-4/4z (#4/5 rank?)
Modhouse Tungsten (#4 rank?)
HE-6 6-screw (I have such sweet memories of demo’ing this in a store ..read more

A police client of mine asked for some Bose QuietComfort Ultra’s, but I don’t sell Bose…or Sony and when I told them that came back asking if I have anything similar to suggest. it’s for their stenographer’s and the Bt won’t be used at all.
I found the Evolve2 85, but still working on determining if the ANC works when wired.
thanks!

I received my Noble Fokus Apollo’s today and saw that no one had posted anything yet. Let’s get the ball rolling…
First Impressions (2.5 Hours Of Listening):
Headband extended fully just barely fits my large head
Ear pads are fairly comfortable, my ears just squeeze into them, looking forward to them softening up
Slight headband hotspot
Very good passive noise cancellation
Wired listening connected to Questyle M15i dongle on Sony Xperia 1 VI using Tidal Max files
Firmware update was available and easy to install via Fokus app
Extreme driver distortion at higher (but tolerable) listening level ..read more
