I have recently moved house and my Emit 20 standmounts are lost in my room. My room is 22’x16 and I have my speakers 2’ from the rear wall and about 7’apart. Listening position is 11’ from the speakers and is central. I also have an RP6 and Apollo-r. Any suggestions for floorstanding or better stand mount speakers to suit would be appreciated. Hi all! I have a nice pair of cherry red B&W 685 bought back in 2010, so the first version. Always had them on a book shelf but moving to a bigger room now and trying to find speaker stands to fit. Never owned speaker stands ....so here goes newbie question...I can get myself a pair of B&W STAV24 S2 stands. My Triangle esprit titus ez er very good, especially in the highs but it might sometimes sound to subtle, slightly dark Bass is lowered as it was with my other speakers so bass isn't to loud to effect the balance of the highs and lows I do use silver cables from inakustic and have QED Silver Anniversary XT that is somewhat brighter than copper cables but also a little more fatigue and the bass is lacking a little, a little to thin bass Is there any cable that can do something about the... As per the title really, just pondering upgrading my speakers for my stereo system. I have an Arcam sa20 and an audio technica lpw50pb turntable with mission qx1 MK2 speakers. The turntable is running the stock stylus (AT VM95E). Speakers are on stands about 2.2m apart and me about 2.2m away in the middle - so much like reasonably decent triangle shape I feel the sound lacks a little sparkle for me and it doesn't 'wow' me. Hi guys, New to this so hoping someone can guide me here. I owe a Rega Planar 1 Plus with a preamp built in. I'm planning to purchase the Rega Kyte passive speakers and a Reisong A10 tube Amplifier. To my understanding the connection would need to be turntable to Reison A10 to Rega Kyte. Has anyone tried this combo? Will i be able to connect them all and enjoy a much needed HI-FI upgrade?
