Hi, I wasn't looking for one of these before a couple weeks ago when I was still looking for a cheaper commuter car that was hybrid and manual (and found that there aren't really any that meet that description). But I found the CR-Z, and without having to look too hard I lucked into a 2011 in blue with less than 35,000 kms (less than 21,500 miles) that has lived all its life in a heated garage before now, so zero rust. Finally sourced a GE8 cam and rocker set from the local junkyard, unfortunately ImpexJapan states that the lost motion spring recall kit ($11) is “not sold in Japan”. I got some aftermarket seats I plan on fabricating brackets but what's stumping me is the side airbags and how to keep that light off I'm assuming ill have to use resistors somehow to trick the computer and then run a jumper for the seat belt light to stay off.
